5 Star Dinner Brings Together Belgrade's Rising Culinary Stars for a Good Cause

On 25 September, Restaurant Legat hosted the latest edition of 5 Star Dinner, bringing together five young chefs from Belgrade's dynamic culinary scene for an evening dedicated to creativity, collaboration and social responsibility.

This year's edition had a strong JRE presence, with four JRE chefs joining the kitchen: Ivan Tasić of Salon 1905, Vladimir Kučera of Delirium Silence, Anđela Risimić of S5 by Angie, and Marko Đerić of Langouste. Together with host chef Milorad Božić, they created a carefully curated multi-course dinner in support of SOS Children's Villages Serbia.

A Menu Led by Young Talent

The evening showcased the skill and imagination of a new generation of Serbian chefs, with each course paired with selected Serbian wines.

Ivan Tasić presented Runaway Rabbit, a refined dish featuring confit rabbit, carrot cream and rabbit consommé. Vladimir Kučera followed with butter-poached river trout accompanied by Pirot kashkaval foam, spinach sauce and celery cream.

The menu continued with Anđela Risimić's Divine Comedy, a handmade pumpkin pasta filled with confit duck, complemented by pumpkin velouté, paprika and sour cherry reduction, and pickled hazelnuts. Marko Đerić concluded the savoury courses with Lamb in the Garden, combining charcoal-grilled lamb ribs, miso eggplant, herb hollandaise and burnt lemon powder.

The dinner ended with a collaborative dessert course prepared by all participating chefs, bringing the evening to a memorable close.

Gastronomy with Purpose

Beyond the food and wine, 5 Star Dinner once again showed how hospitality can bring people together for a meaningful cause. Through the support of chefs, sommeliers, partners, wineries and guests, the evening contributed to the work of SOS Children's Villages Serbia.

For JRE Serbia, the event was a proud moment of collaboration, with four member chefs contributing their talent to an evening that celebrated excellence, generosity and the power of gastronomy to make a difference.
