Chef Cristian Benvenuto
Chef Cristian Benvenuto was born in Carate Brianza in 1986 and started early, working beside his father in the family pizzeria. After training at the Ballerini Institute in Seregno, he built experience across restaurants and pastry kitchens in Lombardy, then expanded into teaching and consultancy for restaurants and private events. In 2017 he shaped La Filanda as his own creative workshop, bringing together Sicilian inspiration, strong technique, and a personal interest in recovered ingredients and waste reduction. His cooking is direct, detailed, and driven by ingredient quality.
