2023 was a successful and exciting year for the Bulgarian culinary scene, and this achievement will be celebrated with the next awards ceremony "Restaurant of the Year Bacchus, Аcqua Panna & S.Pellegrino” on March 7, 2024, in Sofia, Bulgaria, with an entertaining gala dinner, prepared by extraordinary chefs, and in the company of excellent musicians. 

Ladies First: the smooth approach to the professional cuisine

In 2024, with the introduction of JRE-Bulgaria, JRE-International has been extended an invitation to participate in crafting the menu for the Gala Evening, honoring 5 JRE Lady Chefs from 5 different countries.
For the first time in the competition's history, all five chefs are ladies and they will prepare an elevated 5-course menu, designed to entertain the senses. The role of women in the gastronomy industry is this year's ceremony theme, and that is why together with JRE and Mastercard, Bacchus is supporting the professional development of female chefs in the culinary industry. In Women's Month, we will witness the good examples and celebrate their successes.

During the evening each Chef will prepare 1 ‘Signature Dish’, representing their terroir and philosophy.
