Talent & Passion: A Night at the Museum of Contemporary Art
New Tendencies of Old Zagreb Cuisine - The Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb transformed into a stage of flavours, creativity, and art during the exclusive event Talent & Passion, organized by JRE-Croatia (JRE-Jeunes Restaurateurs). Under the theme “New Tendencies of Old Zagreb Cuisine”, sixteen JRE-Croatia chefs reimagined the heritage of Zagreb’s traditional dishes in a contemporary, avant-garde style.
Only sixty selected guests were part of this unforgettable evening, which combined gastronomy, art, and music into a sensory journey. The night began with a private guided museum tour and a ride down Carsten Höller’s iconic Double Slide, followed by a multi-course gala dinner prepared by the country’s leading chefs. Guests were entertained by a band playing Croatian chansons from the 1960-1970s while enjoying unmistakable atmosphere that defines JRE events — elegant, passionate, and full of character.
Through this project, JRE-Croatia once again showcased the country’s culinary excellence and creativity, celebrating talent, tradition, and innovation. The event also highlighted Zagreb’s growing position on the European gastronomic map — as a city that blends heritage, culture, and contemporary vision into authentic, memorable experiences.
"This Talent & Passion is about connection — between chefs, locality, art, and guests. It’s about the energy that happens when creativity meets emotion,”
JRE-Croatia President
