House Traditions and Events
A distinctive element of Landgasthaus Essl is its connection to local traditions. The Essl family tends 76 apricot trees, using the harvest for jam, liqueur, roasted apricots and, during the season, classic apricot dumplings. These products appear throughout the year and are complemented by special events, including the traditional “Lustige Küchl” at the end of the season. These moments extend the dining experience beyond the menu and reflect the rhythm of the region.
