Modern French Cooking with a Clear Line
Chef Yorick de Groot cooks from a French base, then pares dishes back so the main ingredient stays in focus. Fresh, bright notes run through the menu, supported by precise sauces and thoughtful textures. Dishes like corn curd with avocado cream and smoked pepper, langoustine tartare with hazelnut and citrus, or Anjou pigeon roasted on the carcass show how he balances richness with lift. There is room for bold ideas, such as melon with bacon ice cream, but never at the cost of taste and balance.

The team works with guests to create a menu that suits the occasion, using the same product-led approach as in regular service. Both Yorick and Michelle worked at De Bokkedoorns and later at Restaurant Fris before starting their own place. The restaurant aims high, but keeps the tone relaxed, so guests feel they are in capable hands without any stiffness.
